The Italian energy supplier publishes the call for the Energy Income 2024

Starting date: 5th July 2024 The call for the Energy Income 2024 has been published. It consists of a financial aid to promote the installation of photovoltaic systems from 2 to 6 kW for domestic use. A total amount of € 200 million will be allocated between 2024 and 2025 in the following way: • 80% to South-Italian Regions (Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Apulia, Sardinia and Sicily); • 20% to the remaining autonomous Provinces/Regions. Access requirements include: •the so-called ISEE-income, i.e. the “Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator”; •the property ownership; •the energy supply contract.

The benefits of the Energy Income 2024 are intended exclusively for the installation of photovoltaic systems for domestic use in self-consumption. The installations must be connected to consumers for whom an electricity supply contract is already active when asking for the facility, on behalf of the beneficiary or a member of his/her household, in accordance with the ISEE-definition. Access requests must be submitted by the beneficiary on the energy supplier’s portal named "Reddito Energetico Nazionale - REN" („National Energy Income”) under the service "Fotovoltaico" in the customer area.
