Agrisolar Call 2026 Italy
Context and PNRR Opportunity The Parco Agrisolare 2026 call provides 789 million euros to incentivize the installation of photovoltaic systems exclusively on the roofs of buildings instrumental to agricultural or agro-industrial activities. The goal is to promote energy independence without land consumption, offering non-repayable grants covering up to 80% of expenses for primary agricultural production. A 40% reserve of resources is dedicated to the regions of Southern Italy.
Timeline and Access Methods Applications can already be submitted exclusively through the GSE portal until April 9, 2026. It is crucial to respect the work commencement constraint: no expenses can be incurred before submitting the application. Issuing invoices for modules or inverters before this date makes the project ineligible. Once the grant is awarded, works must be completed within 18 months, with an absolute final deadline of December 31, 2028.
Grants and Increases The aid intensity varies based on the type of activity and system size (between 6 kWp and 1,000 kWp):
-
Primary agricultural production: Up to 80% non-repayable grant.
-
Agro-food processing: From 50% to 80% based on installed power.
-
Processing into non-agricultural products: 30% base rate.
Additional increases are provided for SMEs (+10-20%) and for investments in assisted areas of the Mezzogiorno (+15%).
Eligible Expenses and Technical Ceilings The call finances the PV system and complementary building efficiency interventions:
-
PV System: Max €1,500/kWp for Category B and C modules (ENEA Register) and €1,000/kWp for Category A.
-
Storage Systems: Up to €700/kWh (max €50,000).
-
Roof Renovation: Asbestos removal and thermal insulation up to €700/kWp.
-
Charging Stations: Maximum eligible expense of €10,000.
The Esaving Advantage: 3SUN Modules in READY DELIVERY To ensure success in a "first-come, first-served" procedure, Esaving provides 3SUN modules in ready delivery. Using these modules (ENEA Category C) allows access to the highest spending ceiling (€1,500/kWp) and grants priority in the ranking over projects using Category A modules.
Category A Modules: Solitek and Eurener The call also allows Category A modules, such as Solitek 505 and Eurener 440. These represent a solid choice for balancing efficiency and costs within the €1,000/kWp ceiling. While Category B/C modules (like 3Sun) have ranking precedence, Solitek and Eurener still guarantee access to the 80% grant.
